Have y’all ever played a game (say for example a rhythm game) with a lot of modding potential and said: “I wish there was more AWESOME NEWGROUNDS CONTENT in this game!”? 

Well I have, and the game that I’ve said this about a lot is none other than Beat Saber,  My personal favorite VR game and Rhythm Game. I think we can bring Newgrounds to the Beat Saber scene, and so I want to make it happen.

Here’s the basic idea:

We take our awesome Newgrounds talents and make a Beat Saber mod pack that would include ORIGINAL SONGS, CUSTOM SABERS, CUSTOM BLOCKS, A CUSTOM ENVIRONMENT, AWESOME COVER ART AND ALBUM COVERS, AND (possibly) MEDIOCRE CHARTING/BEAT MAPS (depending on if im the only one charting)! 

Looking for:

-12 Musicians

-15 2D Artists

-3 3D Artists

-At least 5 play testers

-At least 1 person with experience charting/mapping for beatsaber 

Each Group will have five musicians, five 2D artists, and three 3D artists. 2D artists will be paired up with a musician, and the 2D artists will make cover art for the musicians song. The 5 artists in a group will collaborate on the Album cover art. Each 3D artist will make either custom sabers, custom blocks or a custom environment for the album. 

The Ideal Contents of the mod pack:

-One Set of Custom Sabers

-One set of custom blocks

-One custom environment

Pico Album (Easier Songs)

-A collaborative Album cover

-Five songs

   -Each Song has Cover Art

   -Each song has charts for easy, normal, hard, expert, and expert+ difficulties but songs in this pack will be less challenging. This would include things like Accuracy Maps. Slower (but not super slow), more relaxed.

Tankman Album (Normal Songs)

-A collaborative Album cover

-Five songs

   -Each song has Cover art

   -Each song has charts for easy, normal, hard, expert, and expert+ difficulties but songs in this pack will be at an intermediate level. Blended (Tech and Acc) maps. Moderate pace, a bit more challenging than the previous album.

P-bot Album (Harder Songs) 

-A collaborative Album Cover

-Five songs

   -each song has cover art

   -each song has charts for easy, normal, hard, expert, and expert+ difficulties but these songs are definitely more intense. The metaphorical camellia songs of this mod pack. Technical maps, and speedcore maps. Somewhat faster, definitely more intense. 

The tentative goal for the release of this mod pack is around May of this year, with deadlines for assets being ideally sometime in April, but this is always subject to change based on numerous factors.

Beat Mappers, please include the following:
